Hello! My name is Jessica Fox and I live in Essex.
I began riding when I was 10 years old at my local riding school and I instantly became hooked! I knew that my career would definitely involve working with horses, however, I didn’t bank on it taking over my life – but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Once I left school I went to Writtle College where I studied for a diploma in Horse Care and Management, I then went on to obtain a degree in Equine Science whilst working part time freelance grooming.
After I graduated I really didn’t know what I wanted to do – I attempted to work in an office (for a day) but I got cabin fever! I just knew that sitting in an office Monday to Friday would slowly kill me off, so I continued to groom and it got busier and busier throughout the summer… and that’s how Jessica Fox Equine Services was born! My services include horse and hound care but it doesn’t stop there… I look after chickens, ducks, cats, sheep and I have even looked after lizards!
So I decided to start this blog to document my crazy life looking after all these different animals and also to document my journey into the dressage world with my new super ginger horse! (I’ll introduce him very soon).
